Our Mission

OMCDC (Ohio Multi-County Development Corporation) is a community development corporation providing affordable housing opportunities to low and moderate-income persons in Summit and Wayne counties.  We currently manage and operate over 180 housing units for homeless individuals and families around Northeast Ohio.

Fair Housing

Ohio Multi-County Development Corporation is an equal opportunity employer and provider of housing and operates under the Federal Fair Housing Law. It is illegal to discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin in the sale or rental of housing or residential lots; in advertising the sale or rental of housing; in the financing of housing; in the provision of real estate brokerage services; in the appraisal of housing; blockbusting is also illegal.

Our Board

Our volunteer board of directors consists of community and industry leaders, concerned citizens, and consumers of our services.  Each board member serves a two-year term and meets seven times per year.

Our Funders

OMCDC receives much of its funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Summit County Continuum of Care.
